Safety Measures
SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
It is the responsibility of ENHAS to operate in a safe secure environment. This safeguards the health and safety of our clients, employees as well as the airports in which we operate in.

SAFETY MEASURES
As part of safety the following measures have been put in place:
- ENHAS ably provides First Aid kits and infectious disease kits like Ebola, SAARS etc in all departments and staff are also provided with safety gear like;
safety shoes, ear plugs and muffs, hand gloves, nose masks, reflective jackets, weather clothes and helmets, in order to minimize accidents.
- To ensure protection of the travelling public from harzards associated with air transport, pictorial placards are placed at check-in counters to inform passengers.

- Passenger safety on ramp is our priority. ENHAS has three (3) ramp buses for boarding and disembarking passengers.

- ENHAS supplies drinking water for aircraft.

- Hygiene is key to the Company's operations to the extent that strict hygiene is observed with staff who handle fish and other food products. Medical examination is carried out every 6 months.

- A pest control and fumigation Company is contracted to regularly fumigate all Stores, Cargo warehouses and Offices.

- Special containers are placed at the aircraft stand to collect any Foreign Object debris (FOD) within the vicinity.

ENHAS recognizes the employer’s code of conduct on HIV/AIDS at the work place by the ILO.

In an effort to reduce teenage pregnancies and spread of sexually transmitted Infections among adolescents of our staff, ENHAS organizes teenage health talk during school vacation.
